Logo
Rickert and Smith is a fictitious furniture brand that was created for a final project in one of my sophomore design classes. This was the first part of the project, whereas the second was creating a business card, and last a form of media that went along with the brand created (I created a corresponding furniture catalog). Rickert and Smith come from my late grandparents' last names who left a profound impact on who I am today. Throughout the erection of this project, iteration was a key part in exploring all design options and then being more conservative to figure out what was working and what was not.

Business Card
Approach: I wanted to keep the business card clean and simplistic to fit the brands identity. The business card also underwent many different stylistic changes as I figured out the brand identity as well as made changes to the color and style of the logo. For the business card, it's a glossy paper with the logo embossed on the one side, and on the back side featuring the information and having a de-bossing of the chair.
